eReserve Plus Secures First Place in APUC Framework for Resource and Reading Lists Systems

~ Recognized for Excellence in Library Resource Management, eReserve Plus Prioritizes Service Optimization Solutions for Higher Education.~

IPSWICH, Mass. — Feb 13, 2025 — eReserve Plus has achieved first place in the Advanced Procurement for Universities and Colleges (APUC) Library Services Platform(s) Framework as a Resource and Reading Lists Systems supplier on Lot2 of the Framework. APUC serves as Scotland’s procurement center of expertise for higher education institutions (HEIs), enabling universities and colleges to procure library service platforms and related services from approved suppliers. Guided by strategic principles of sustainability, compliance and collaboration, the APUC Framework’s pre-negotiated terms and transparency provide significant cost efficiencies and operational benefits to member institutions.

Ranked first among four appointed suppliers in this competitive tender process for Lot2 – Resource and Reading Lists Systems, eReserve Plus’s ranking underscores its adherence to APUC’s rigorous standards. It gives member institutions confidence in the quality and value of its offerings and enables universities to access innovative solutions while optimizing procurement processes.

In 2023, eReserve Plus collaborated with EBSCO Information Services to integrate its electronic reserve capabilities into the FOLIO Library Services Platform (LSP), aiming to streamline library workflows and enhance resource management. In this year’s APUC Framework evaluation, EBSCO FOLIO secured a second-place ranking among six appointed suppliers to Lot1, Library Services Platform(s). EBSCO builds on FOLIO’s API-first approach to building applications—one of which is eReserve Plus—and highlights this mission to create valuable library resources that improve library workflows for the benefit of library staff and users.

This achievement underscores eReserve Plus’s commitment to providing innovative, reliable and user-focused solutions that empower academic institutions to manage library resources seamlessly.
